Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

A pack of cards, a game of Sequence , Scrabble or Rummikubs, a box of coloured pencils ✏️ , Wordle or Candy Crush on my phone. It’s playtime!

Every day I would play at least one of these games – phone games if I’m alone and others if I’m with company. My word games always start my day.

And there’s puppy playtime! The joyful jumping, tug of wars and ball chasing games that my current charge, Bonnie, loves to play.

Do I need a special time for play? No! Playfulness is an attitude to life and doesn’t need a structure. It’s making a game out of the mundane – having fun with what you do and laughing at the little quirky things that happen throughout the day.
