Day 2 of our Mystery Dining Tour, aka pub crawl, took us to the Yandaran Hotel some 100kms north of Apple Tree Creek where we stayed on Day 1.

Our numbers are growing as a few more RV’s joined us but we managed to squeeze together behind the hotel so we could enjoy happy hour and dinner together.

I loved the casual area at the rear of the hotel …

… and I bet this outdoor bar has seen some noisy nights!

Pub camping is a great alternative to caravan parks and freedom camps. It’s usually free to camp in their yard but they do expect you to patronise their business. Dave and I will sometimes just go in for a drink as eating out every night, even at pub prices, can really blow the budget.

It would often work out cheaper booking a caravan park with access to power, a full bathroom, swimming pool etc.

But definitely not as much fun! 🤩
