I belong to a vibrant group of solo travellers and twice a year we get together for a week long motorhome rally.

Around 300 of us met at the Macksville Showgrounds for a full program of fun and friendship.

We’re a mad lot when we come together and with Hollywood as the theme for the week there were plenty of dress up opportunities.

Dance classes, information sessions, craft lessons, a casino night and talent quest were just some of the activities that kept us busy and amused throughout the week.

We left Macksville after our rally and were happy to tell the local community that we spent over $90,000 while visiting their town! And we had a lot of fun doing it!
