There’s flowers everywhere! Colourful displays in gardens, window boxes, hanging baskets and pots. They adorn houses, streets and roadsides and brighten the dullest day and the drabbest village.

I’ve been snapping pictures of flowers throughout our trip accompanied by lots of ooohs and aaahs and my floral journey was capped last Sunday at the Clevedon Flower Show. Dave’s cousins, Andy & Gill, live there and invited us to visit the show with them.

They also had a display of BIG vegetables …

And the children got involved creating animals from vegetables 🌽

Here’s some of the other floral displays I’ve admired on our travels.

From little villages to major towns the community floral displays have been magnificent. The massed blooms of begonias have really been outstanding and striking in their vibrancy and I’ve never seen hydrangeas of such deep colours of pink and blue as I’ve seen here.
England at the moment is definitely ‘bloomin’ luverly‘!
Where is Clevedon?
