After queuing to deposit our baggage, queuing to pass customs, queuing to check into our cruise ship, queuing again to hand in our passports and then queuing to show our boarding passes we finally boarded the Westerdam

We opened the door to our room and went WOW! This is so much bigger and better than we had ever imagined!

There was a huge balcony, a lovely sitting area and a personal welcome to Mr & Mrs – let’s call them “Smith” That’s when we knew we were in the wrong room 😳 Uh Oh!

We made a quick escape and finally found the right room for us – we’d reversed the last two digits- not quite so spacious 🤔 but still very comfortable.

Now we’ve seen a Stateroom Dave won’t settle for anything less in the future! 🤣🤣

Our luggage arrived and today’s chaos continued when I couldn’t unlock my suitcase. The lock had jammed and no amount of encouragement would open it so there was nothing for it but to break the locked zip. Damn! But at least I don’t have to live in navy slacks and a white linen shirt for the next two weeks!

Definitely time for a drink – whatever time it is!
