The Party’s Over

Our wonderful travels have come to an end and we have arrived back home with great memories, a few tacky souvenirs – and a desire to do it all again!

After our big day yesterday on the Big Bus we had a lazy start, packed our suitcases for the last time, and left them with the concierge while we had one last look at Hong Kong.

We didn’t make it to Temple Street last night so that was where we headed today.

At the opposite end to the gate.

As it was early afternoon the stall holders were only starting to set up but I can imagine the bustle and the smell of food cooking and colour of the night markets, can you?

This kitty cat didn’t need much encouragement to ask for a tummy rub 😊

We walked a little way around the area and Dave spotted this sign – trust him!

Shops for everything 🤣

Here’s some other snaps of street scenes in the area as we walked.

Check out all the air cons hanging off that building!

We made our way back to our hotel , the Sheraton in Nathan Road, and decided to head to the airport early and take advantage of the Kris Lounge, one of the perks of travelling Business Class with Singapore Airlines ✈️. It offered comfortable chairs with free food and drinks and put us on the spot for when our flight was called.

Our holiday was coming to an end 😢. What an amazing time we’ve had in all the places we have been. Thanks for joining us along the way 😊

PS: We arrived home a couple of days ago, happily exhausted 😴 Catching up on washing and sleep before we start planning our next adventure.

  1. looks like you have had a wonderful trip and I’m envious to say the least, however I have been lucky enough to travel overseas and then in Australia so I can’t be too jealous. Have a great Christmas and enjoy planning your next adventure. Xxx
