Surprising Silo Art

Some places you travel through have capitalised on the silo art trend to attract people to visit their town and we passed through two of these places recently. The first was Grenfell in New South Wales.

Before we even saw the directional sign these silos stood out against the sky line and a short detour off the main road put us right at their base. They depict the local farming of cattle, sheep and colourful canola.

Then on the way to our motorhome rally site in Elmore we drove through Colbinabbin in Victoria. Wow! The detail on these silos was amazing!

I’m always amazed at the scale of this art and the detail the artists achieve on such a large ‘canvas’.

I hope you enjoy this silo art as much as I do.

I’ve done several previous blogs about Silo Art around Australia and if you’re interested in it please use the search feature to discover them.
