It’s time for stunning yellow fields of canola to decorate the countryside.

My first thought on seeing these was to sing (in my head, of course) that beautiful song by Eva Cassidy, Fields of Gold.

In some areas these bright yellow fields are interspersed with lush green fields of grain – the colours of Australia – green and gold.

Spring is a lovely time of the year.
