Most of my riverside camping experiences have involved muddy river banks that ooze through your toes – but that’s not the case here at Town Beach in Tocumwal.

There are wide sandy river flats that invite you to follow them straight into the water where families, fishermen and boaties are all enjoying the Murray River.

The crowds have thinned out as people return to work – less kids, less dogs, less noise …. more my style 😎
