Tungamah is the home of the first silo painted on the northeast Victorian Silo Art Trail and the most northern silo to visit.
A kookaburra and magnificent dancing brolgas adorn these silos which are hard to get a good clear view of because the whole area is fenced off and there is only a small clear viewing area. Such a shame 😟
The little town of Tungamah lies on the banks of Boosey Creek where you can free camp.
It looked so green and inviting as I drove around the town, obviously proud of its parks and gardens and also its historical buildings, of which there were several.
This website about Tungamah will fill in the gaps in my information.
I’ll be back to camp at Boosey Creek as it’s only a short walk into town to try the pub meals and shop at the General Store.
