As I travel north I have come across two more small towns with wonderfully painted water towers that I would like to share with you.

Gulargambone

This water tower was painted by Jenny McCracken and features a diving kingfisher.

Coonamble

Artist John Murray painted this striking tower right on the main street as you drive through town towards my immediate destination, Lightning Ridge.

I’m looking forward to seeing and sharing much more of John Murray’s art, which is featured heavily in Lightning Ridge.

Seems I can’t escape this ‘silo art trail’! Hope you’re enjoying it as much as I am.
