The ERA Acrobat Show in Shanghai was one of our optional tours and we are so glad we did it! Not only were the performers amazing, the lighting, sound and whole atmosphere created the spectacle.

It’s impossible to describe the feats of the athletes so I hope my videos will give you a better idea.

The girls that climbed these ribbons looked so elegant and we all gasped when they tumbled.

After performing some wonderful acrobatics high above us a glass pool rose from the floor and this is what happened!

How they maintained their grip while they were so wet is beyond me!

Who knew you could do all these things on a see-saw? I certainly couldn’t but these guys excelled!

I was super impressed by the balance shown on this flexible board. The timing is perfect 👌

But when you talk about timing the final act was amazing. A huge globe rolled out onto the floor …

… and then a motorbike drove out, a ramp came out of the globe and in went the bike! And then out came another bike into the globe. Then another. Then another. In all a total of 7 motorbikes we’re driving flat out inside!

It was a visually spectacular evening and we feel very lucky to have seen it. The finale was colourful and drew the simple storyline to a close

Another day comes to a close. Another memory to take away from this wonderful China holiday.
