Guinness & Gaelic Gig

It must seems like we are on a pub crawl as here we are again, this time at O’Shanley’s Irish Pub in Clifton, Queensland.

It’s another pub with quirky decor, walls and ceiling cluttered with all sorts of memorabilia, collections and bits and pieces.

Lots of country pubs offer camping out the back, usually at no cost, but they encourage the campers to come in for a drink or a meal. It’s a clever offer because, as campers, we feel like we’re getting a free night! That’s definitely not the case though, as by the time we’ve paid for two meals and a couple of drinks the dollars have added up.

You can’t beat the atmosphere at a country pub though and tonight was no different. To top it off they had Kilkenny beer on tap and Guinness Pie on the menu.
