I Went Into The Lions Den

I don’t know if Daniel was there too but there were plenty of others at The Lions Den Hotel in Far North Queensland when we stopped on the way to the Daintree.

There were sheilas!
And there were blokes!
And a lovely long verandah to relax on.
The pub is a rugged building…
… full of memorabilia and mementos.
It’s in the middle of nowhere!

What a quirky place to visit! You can camp in the grounds for $15 per person a night so that ensures a hungry clientele for dinner. I enjoyed a beautiful Cajun spiced barramundi when I stayed there … delicious 😋
