Sharing My Journey

My writing is my travelogue! It is written as a record of the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had. I write it firstly for me and love the research I do to discover more information and give some of those places a history and a personality before, and after, my often cursory visit.

The spin off is it’s a great way to share my journey with family and friends, those that are interested of course.

And there’s Uluṟu! (Northern Territory)

The bonus is it has reached people all over the world connecting me with fellow bloggers – and even an old boyfriend from fifty years ago!

I try to write my blog as if I was having a conversation with a friend, which I hope makes it interesting to read. And I’ve learnt not to cram it full of the information I’ve discovered but use links for those that want to delve a little deeper.

I write for me and I’m thrilled that friends I never knew I had have joined me on my journey.
