The Putta Bucca Wetlands

Only a couple of kilometres from Mudgee, the Putta Bucca Wetlands are a great spot to enjoy a natural environment with some easy walking tracks, bird hides to spot the many species that live here and bushy picnic areas.

It’s only about a 1 1/2 km circuit around the lake and plenty of bench seats dotted around to sit and quietly observe your surroundings. There’s also two bird hides which we took advantage of.

Mudgee people are lucky to have the Putta Bucca Wetlands so close to their town.
