Moore Park Beach is about 15kms north of Bundaberg, Queensland, and this weekend is their annual family festival.
There was a colourful corner set up as a Pacific Village with contributions from people from Tonga, Kiribati, PNG, New Caledonia and more and the young girls were traditionally dressed for a dancing demonstration.
From pumpkins to paintings,
sausage sangas to wood craft
and the usual market stalls of jewellery, crystals, essential oils and pot plants, the festival offered something for everyone.
As I used to work for Ray White Real Estate I loved their ‘springtime’ like display. So fresh!
And what about their star attraction!
Joe Cool! 😎
The art exhibition displayed all mediums from both established and young/new artists.
There were several indigenous works from young artists … here’s the winner for the Under 13 category! Amazing!
And this stunning piece got my vote towards People’s Choice. It had obviously impressed the judges too with two Winner Certificates attached to it. If I had a wall I would have bought it!
The festival offered live entertainment but a couple of daytime hours saw me out and I was happy to leave the partying to others.
Thanks Moore Park Beach! I enjoyed my time at your annual festival 🚐😎
