I am so lucky to be housesitting a home with a beautiful cottage garden … and it’s Spring!

Flowers, vegetables and fruit trees share the space with quirky bits and pieces that make for an adventure of discovery as I wander around the garden.

The roses have put on a spectacular display …

… the yellow rose bush so heavy with blooms that I easily filled this vase and left more than this on the bush.

It’s delightful to discover the sweet peas flowering, perfuming the air with their subtle scent as you sidestep around ground covers and duck under silken spider webs.

As I nurture this garden it nurtures me.
