Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory (Australia) and one of its many tourist attractions is the Sunday evening Mindil Market.

There’s all the usual market stalls of trinkets and trash and also a fabulous choice of food – Indian curries, Asian Laksa and noodles, Greek Yiros, Aussie burgers, Italian Arancini, pasta and pizza … and more!

The market stalls set up behind the sand dunes at Mindil Beach and offer the perfect opportunity to wander down to the beach, sit on the sand and watch the sun go down across the water.

Now I can say “Been there, done that!” What a beautiful balmy evening to enjoy this ‘must do’ experience – the Mindil Market!
