We have just enjoyed 3 nights at the Wyndham Caravan Park, catching up with other Solos as we wend our way to the west coast of Australia.

Coincidence? My Facebook memory tells me I was here exactly 7 years ago, to the day! My actual memory is of a friendly stay here then, and my current experience confirms that.

Although fairly basic there is a delightful little cafe area that sells drinks, icecreams, bread & milk and is run on an honesty system – whatever you ‘buy’ you put the appropriate amount in the jar in the cupboard! There is such a good vibe to this place I’m sure most people do the right thing and pay.

The camp kitchen has all the basic requirements and is very well equipped but more than that is presented so well with a home stylists touch in its rustic setting.

An unexpected bonus is the ancient Boab tree in the park grounds claimed to be around 2000 years old.

I wonder if I’ll make it back to Wyndham in another 7 years 🤔
