It sounds like a bit of a misnomer, doesn’t it? Solo travellers? But together? Then they’re not solo are they?
The group I belong to is called the Solos Network and it is for those who travel one person, one RV (motorhome or caravan). Every six months or so we ‘rally’ together, somewhere in Australia, to enjoy each other’s company.

Several of us have been travelling together from the east coast of Australia to the west coast to attend our latest rally in Leeman, Western Australia. And what a wonderful journey it’s been! Just because we travel solo doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy each other’s company and there has been many campfires, bush camps and shared experiences along the way.

We finally arrived in Leeman, a small coastal fishing village that became our home for about 10 days as Solos rallied together.

As usual, our rally was full on, with activities every day plus the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

The theme was Nautical so there were lots of pirates, mermaids and sailors 🏴☠️🧜♀️

Our week long rally went off without a hitch and I thoroughly enjoyed it, along with the other 100 or so solo travellers who made the journey to Leeman. It’s always fun when Solos get together 😂😊🚐
