Against a background of much ‘softer’ looking historical buildings, the Mudgee Clock Tower is situated at the top end of Market Street and dominates the streetscape with its four sided red brick construction.
It is a Memorial to those soldiers who fought in World War 2 and is on the Register of War Memorials in New South Wales. It was unveiled in 1953.
It’s certainly a ‘striking’ feature of the town of Mudgee (sorry, I couldn’t help myself)!
