These bugs sure loved the lights at the Showgrounds in Barcaldine.

I was camped quite near one of these lights and moths and grasshoppers found their way into the light in my campervan too.

It made for an interesting night as the moths settled, but the grasshoppers did what grasshoppers do – they hopped from curtain to cupboard and seemed to use me as a springboard on the way! 🦗 🦗🦗

Today they will be encouraged to hop back to their own environment. I’m sure we’ll all be happier then 😊
