In Yaraka, Western Queensland, you can keep your hat on the wall!

Much loved hats adorn the wall in the bar of the Yaraka Hotel, each with a story to tell. Stories from visiting tourists, local cattlemen, the policeman who retired last year, the charity ‘bashes’ that regularly use Yaraka as a stopover and as recently as yesterday we inadvertently scored another one for the wall when a group in a small plane came in for lunch and took off leaving a cap behind.
