I stopped in Emerald overnight and before I left thought I should fill up with petrol. How can it be $1.09 one day and $1.33 the next? Oh well, to compensate

I found one of my favourite shops, BCF (Boating, Camping, Fishing) and they had a sale! I now have a pair of new Crocs sandals (thongs) for $10 – BARGAIN!

Unfortunately shopping delayed my departure from Emerald and I only made it to Jericho today. 223 kms.

I took the opportunity to go to a lookout at Drummond Range on the way but trees blocked most of the view.

I love the riverside camping at Jericho and am sorry to only have an overnighter here.

There is still very little traffic on the road and only 2 other campers here. It’s a wonderful time to be back on the road before all Covid restrictions are eased between states and the hordes head to Queensland to enjoy our milder winter weather.
