I’m away camping with my motorhome group, the Kingfishers – and it just so happens to be my birthday week 🥳 What a wonderful way to celebrate.

Our group of 21 RV’s arrived at the Goomeri ( say it like goo- mary) Bush Camp and settled in for the week. Waking up on our first morning was a bit of a shock to the system as the temperature plunged overnight to around zero and we woke up to frosted windscreens and icy ground.

The week improved weatherwise and although chilly at times our campfire and comraderie warmed us up.

A huge camp kitchen provided plenty of room to escape the cold wind and enough tables and chairs for some serious card games.

Our last night together provided a spectacular sunset as we shared some damper cooked in the camp ovens.

It was a wonderful week away! What better way to celebrate my birthday🎉.
